Welcome
Software grown with patience & care
I'm Joanna — a developer, Navy veteran, and illustrator. I build calm, useful software and draw the flowers in the margins.
About me
A little about how I got here
Two careers, one habit: take care of the details and the whole thing holds up.
From the fleet to the terminal
I spent four years in the U.S. Navy working as a nuclear machinist mate - operating on a nuclear power plant, documenting everything, and fixing things at 3 a.m. because they had to work. That's still how I approach software: reliable first, pretty second, and always documented.
Code in one hand, ink pen in the other
Off the clock, I create digital products inspired by current trends and everyday business needs. I explore ideas, develop designs, and turn creative concepts into practical products. The two sides feed each other: both are patient, iterative craft.
